Much of what is being said in this podcast aligns with my own experiences. In particular, that more than one type of therapy can be helpful at different points in your journey, and that the relationship between you and your therapist is more important than the exact methodology they prefer.
That's encouraging to hear, thank you for sharing. I'm working on a piece now where I wrestle with the implications of that, because by and large, the field is still stuck in the "what's your approach?" mindset. We need to move beyond that and begin focusing on -- and teaching -- what the methodologies have in common.
